Portland Audubon Sandy River trip tonight, 7/16, 7 pm.
Meet at the gate along the side I-84.
Directions: (1) I-84 east to exit 18.
(2) Turn right at stop sign. Go back under interstate.
(3) After going under the Hwy., the road curves right. The
gate is before the next right hand curve. Park in the dirt lot
beside the gate.
The walk will last until dusk. We will hopefully see or hear Red-eyed
Vireo as well as other deciduous species. I had 43 species there
Saturday, so bird diversity is nice for a summer spot.
