If anyone is interested there's an easy to see GW Gull's nest at the
Ballard Locks.
I've been watching for a couple of weeks and this morning I saw a little
head pop up. It's on the Magnolia side in the top of the 13th piling of
the tie-off wall under the railroad bridge, just off shore of the small
beach. Everything else seemed to go in twos, two Kildeer on the beach,
two very active Belted Kingfishers and two Bald Eagles, one adult giving
us quite a show directly over head and a juvenile some distance north.
And several very fat rats eating mussels and barnacles on the rocks.
