Subject: RBA: Red-necked Stint at SJCR

From: Mike Patterson - mpatters at orednet.org

A RED-NECKED STINT (Rufous-necked to us old timers) was at the west pond
of the shore bird flats, South Jetty of the Columbia River today (7/19/97)
with about 20 WESTERN SANDPIPERS and 6 LEAST SANDPIPERS. It was first
seen at 1330hr. I watched it for at least 20mins before the entire flock
took off and flew toward the river.

I will send formal details in a follow up post.
