Elegant Terns were still at the Ocean Shores game range today
(19 July). About 125 Elegants were hanging out with ~50 Caspians
at the west end of the game range. At high tide the exposed
part of the sand spit they tend to roost on is fairly close to
the shore.

Shorebirds were pretty sparse: a few small flocks of Westerns and
Leasts, several Whimbrels, a few Marbled Godwits, a few Greater
Yellowlegs, and a couple of flocks of Short-billed Dowitchers.
