Greetings folks!

A friend and I went to Marymoor this afternoon, and when we got to the dock
at the mouth of the slough, my friend noticed "some birds" ducking below
the lillies. We watched and noticed they kept making their way toward a
cluster of reeds on the right hand side of the dock. We watched for a
while, long enough to catch one of them "prodding" at some dead vegatation
in the reeds and then proceed to sit on said vegetation. After watching
for a while longer, we were able to determine this was a nest. When we got
back to my apartment I was able to identify the birds as Pie-Billed Grebes.
A second clutch maybe?
