There is a very interesting (and scary) article in today's Seattle Times
regarding hazardous waste being added to fertilizer. I found it at
www.seattletimes.com. It talks about how hazardous waste is being added
to unregulated fertilizers & applied to crops. It has already had a
major affect on farmlands & livestock, and continues to go unregulated.
I thought given the past (& present) affects of DDT, some of you may be
interested in this. I don't know if it is actually in todays "paper
copy".
