Subject: Caspian Terns

There's been a sudden influx of Caspian Terns hanging around the beaches
with the gulls in this area. I counted 10 in one group and another 7
further down the beach. A smaller group of gulls hosted 5 more. I don't
know if this is typical for this area or not (having just got here).
Still lots of Egrets and we spotted a yellow-headed blackbird yesterday. I
also came across a whole flock of American Goldfinches in the slough behind
work yesterday.
