Hi Tweets -

Michael is away suffering on the west coast of Vancouver Island, so I
get to do the report today.

Beautiful clear weather today, a little later in the summer and things
were a bit quieter at Marymoor this morning. About 40 species today, but
less singing than last week. The highlight was the 55 Killdeer in the
grassy field north of the kids play field. This is the biggest
concentration of Killdeer is quite some time. The 3 eaglets are still on
the nest. One adult Bald Eagle was there today, two eaglets on the nest
proper, and one on a branch off to one side. Should have fledging soon.

Good birding.
