Entry into Ocean Shores is on Pt. Brown Ave. southbound; right on Chance a
la Mer, left onto Ocean Shores Blvd. Continue on OCB until it makes a hard
left (signs for jetty, you could stop there to bird from the jetty), follow
on until it begins to curve left again. Park at the sewage treatment plant,
walk around it and look for the terns on the other side, usually on a sand
bar a little to the northeast of the plant. There is a nice little booklet
out called _A Birder's Guide to Ocean Shores, Washington_ by Bob Morse;
available at both The Wild Side and Wild Birds Unlimited in Oly. It has
maps, lists, and detailed descriptions of the various spots to bird in
Ocean Shores; definitely worth having, in my opinion. Good luck...
