Sightings for Tuesday, July 29

At Reifel today were 2 RED-NECKED PHALAROPES in the Tower pond, a GREEN
HERON, 2 PECTORAL SANDPIPERS and 5 EASTERN KINGBIRDS, 3 of which are
fledging. At Burnaby Lake were 2 HUTTON;S VIREOS and 2 possible PECTORAL
SANDPIPERS.

Reported from the Boundary Bay dike between 96th St & 88th St. were a
RED-NECKED PHALAROPE, 2 PECTORAL SANDPIPERS, and 3 GREATER YELLOWLEGS.

Sightings for Monday July 28

At Lily point in Point Roberts were 12 RHINOCEROS AUKLETS and 3. Reported
from the Iona South Jetty were 2 RED-NECKED PHALAROPES, 12 COMMON LOONS, a
RED-THROATED LOON, 12 COMMON TERNS and a SANDERLING. A CANVASBACK was at
the base of the jetty and a MERLIN was seen from the causeway.

The female LAZULI BUNTING was feeding young at Interriver Park in North
Vancouver.

In late reports for Sunday the COMMON EIDER was at the tip of the Iona
South Jetty and 2 juvenile BAIRD'S SANDPIPERS were on the inner ponds. A
VIRGINIA RAIL was seen near the NE pond at Iona on Saturday.

Sightings for Sunday, July 27

A BAIRD'S SANDPIPER, 2 SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS, 135 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS and
2 juvenile SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS were seen on the Blaine mud flats. One
RED-NECKED PHALAROPE and 5 EASTERN KINGBIRDS were at Reifel.
