Hello, this is Portland Audubon Society's Rare Bird Report. This recording
was made Thursday June 5. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at
233-3976.

A CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER was in Lakeview June 2. A BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER
and a GREAT-TAILED GRACKLE was at Fields May 31. An INDIGO BUNTING was near
Fields May 30. One was at Buena Vista Station in Malheur NWR that day, and
another was at Refuge Headquarters the next day, along with a PLUMBEOUS
SOLITARY VIREO.

A WESTERN SCRUB-JAY was at Malheur Headquarters June 1. A LEAST FLYCATCHER
was at Benson Pond on the refuge June 3, and another was along Moon Creek
near Mt. Vernon June 2. A LARK BUNTING was found May 29 among a flock of
blackbirds at Fox in Grant County. It could not be found the next day.

A male ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was near Tygh Valley May 31. Another male
came to a MacMinnville feeder June 1.

A BLACK TERN was flying about the YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD colony at
Campbell Lake in Ridgefield NWR June 1. The road into this part of the
refuge is open only on week-ends while the roadway is being repaired.

The first NIGHTHAWK was at Malheur NWR May 26. A general movement passed
through the state June 1 and 2. A RED-EYED VIREO was at Lower Bridge near
Terrebonne June 5.

The Portland RBA will not be updated during the next two weeks.
