I live in the CD in Seattle. Had a house wren work on moving into a
chickadee box for about a week, then a chickadee who did not live there
drove him away and subsequently, didn't move in either. The chix do show
up to bathe almost every day at tea time. Anyone notice habits recurring
at the same time of day in your yard? The 10 a.m. bushtit invasion or...?
The chix will come sip droplets off the pear trees whenever I spray the
leaves.
