The comments yesterday regarding the Mourning Doves suprised me. (I'm on
digest mode so I didn't get them until today.) I'm a novice birder and
unaware of where they were "supposed" to be. We have had at least a pair
(this spring there are 3) of Mourning Doves at our house, year round,
since my husband and I moved there 7 years ago. There was a brief time
earlier this spring (Feb or March I think) when we didn't see them for a
few weeks. Other than that, we see them about every day.

We live in a wooded area on the Tulalip reservation west of Marysville.
