Just in case Don Cecile of Port Alberni doesn't read this... The best thing to do
when you are at Ucluelet is to go to any of the long sand beaches of Pacific Rim
National Park - Combers, Wickanninish, Long - and just take some time to walk on
the beach. The smell of the salt air, the cry of the gulls, the barking of the
sea lions, and the pounding of the surf will purge your thoughts of all but the vast
beauty of nature. You may even see a few birds :-)
