Flammulated Owl (Tweeters Digest, 6/10/97). Actually, I had *you* in mind
specifically (in this case recalling your recent Boreal Owl comments) and was
hoping I might flush *you* out of the bushes for a response when I composed
the original "lament". At least that worked on you. Now if I can just get
ol' Flammy to cooperate. Your posts to 'Tweeters' have always been read with
much interest. You're right: I had not a clue as to the secrets to finding
this li'l critter. *Daytime* Flammy hunts, huh. Great idea! Maybe for
once, I can get a decent night's sleep on a field outing. Stay tuned. I'll
be the first to announce a "success" story someday.
