Well Tweets,
While all of you struggle with mundane feeder invaders like Black Bears and
Starlings, I continue to battle the worst invader of the bunch:
The dreaded Band-tailed Pigeon.
Not just ONE Band-tailed pigeon, mind you. Tens, no hundreds, no THOUSANDS
(well, it seems that way, anyway) of Band-tailed pigeons desending upon my
hapless, porch-mounted feeder. In mere moments they reduce the available
feed to nil, and cover the wood floorboards with that most valuable of
products, guano. Lots of LARGE guano. I'm considering selling it for fun
and profit.
So, the next time you have a bear at your feeder, remember, it could be worse!
