Interestingly, the starlings that nested in the neighbor's eves,
have not been a problem at the suet feeder recently (and they
always are during the rest of the year).

But the chickadees have increased their use of the suet feeder
dramatically. Based on the squeeky wheezes from the nest box,
it's a big brood in there.

I like to think by helping out the family with food, that the
youngsters will grow up to be well-balance individuals and
not juvenile deliquents.

There's nothing worse than a grunge punk chickadee with pierced beak.
