I use "Mammals of the Northwest" by Garrison published by Seattle Audubon
Society. 1976.

I wonder if it is still available?

He lists two weasels for this area; The Short-Tailed Weasel (ermine) and
the Long-Tailed Weasel. Main difference between the two is size (as well
as habitat, as Kelly pointed out). Males are larger than females.
Measurements in inches for males are as follows---total body length
followed by tail length:

Short-tailed: 8 5/8, 2 3/16

Long-tailed: 16 1/2, 6 1/8.
