There has been a lot of construction at North Seattle Community
College recently which has disrupted the northern green space
and east pond.

Woodducks have historically nested in the area, but none in recent
years until now.

Five baby woodducks were paddling around the pond Sunday afternoon
with mom.

There's a raggedy red tail and a sharpie in the area. Let's hope
all five make it.
