while visiting in Anacortes this weekend, we got good looks at a
female Calliope Hummingbird, both while she was visiting a feeder
and preening on a branch. This is a suburban site near
the town limits, elevation -300 ft?
I just wondered if she is still migrating
this late, or could she be breeding at this site?
