Some of the books show the Peninsula as in the breeding range and Fred
Sharpe's Checkllist of the Olympic Penisnsula indicates it is a common
breeder. I have only one individual that I saw during the possible breeding
season (that was May the 9th and I would think was just a lingering winter
visitor). Bruce Moorhead was suspicious that he had one singing at Sand Point
in Olympic NP(on the coast, reached from Lake Ozette by a nice boardwalked
three mile trail) but coud not get a good look.
If your friend locates any or if anyone in Tweeterland has information, I
would be very interested.
