Just a reminder for folks interested in information on Costa Rica natural
history/birds that Alex Villegas will be giving his slide presentation at
the Tacoma Mountaineers this Sunday (22) 4-6PM. From my sneak preview, it
looks pretty impressive.
Alex's trip so far has been a tremendous amount of fun and very
profitable for all involved. Last week, he participated in bird banding,
point counts with me in the Thunder fire (his first camping trip!) and
point counts at lower elevations. I haven't tallied species yet, but we
did pretty well.
If you are interested in migratory birds or in visiting Cost Rica
and want to participate in some bird-related projects, come and meet Alex
on Sunday.
