This morning, at 1 AM , I was south bound just starting up the bridge and a
bird of prey crossed above my car (from left to right). Given the time and
darkness, my immediate reaction was that I had seen an owl. In the nano-second
viewing it appeared to be a light gray color and a bird of prey. I frequently
cross the bridge and will be more observant for activity in the future.

Subject: ?Falcon at 1st South Bridge?

I didn't have time to stop on Sunday, but I definitely saw a falcon-winged
bird flying across the 1st Avenue South bridge. It was clearlytoo large to be
a Kestral. Have there been any reports of Peregrine Falcon, Cooper's or
Sharp-shinned Hawks that area?
