Sightings for Saturday, June 28th

The nesting WESTERN KINGBIRDS at Colony Farm were busily feeding 2
nestlings this morning. The nest is on the first tower west of the Mary
Hill Rd.
parking area.

At Maplewood Flats were 3 OSPREY, an AMERICAN KESTREL and 2 female
PURPLE MARTINS.

>From Mount Seymour 2 RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKERS were seen from the
4th parking area.

Boundary Bay Regional Park was the location of a VIRGINIA RAIL.

Friday, June 27th

There were no sightings.

Thursday, June 26th

Jericho Park was the location for a GREEN HERON and 4 LEAST
SANDPIPERS.

Wednesday, June 25th

There were no sightings for Wednesday.

Tuesday, June 24th

A PARASITIC JAEGER was seen near the mouth of the Fraser from the 3:15
Tsawwassen to Nanaimo Ferry sailing.

In an out of town sighting, a possible FRIGATEBIRD was seen near Mill Bay
on
Vancouver Island.

A Crested Mynah was located near Hudson & Marine in Vancouver.

Another CRESTED MYNAH location from a June 20 report was the north end of
the Arthur Laing Bridge.
