I have a small square humingbird feeder on my kitchen window attached by
suction cups. Unlike my other hummy feeders with ant traps, the ants
wouldn't leave this one alone. I discovered that rubbing Vick's Vaporub all
around the sides of this feeder did the trick. The hummies don't seem to be
bothered by the smell, use it constantly and the ants are gone! You could
try rubbing it on whatever your feeder is hanging by plus maybe the branch of
the tree?
