Hi Tweets,

The University has requested I reconfigure our Tweeters list in order to
further protect us from unwanted email. I've just put in the two changes
they requested:

1. The 'rec tweeters' and 'rev tweeters' commands which used to give
you a list of our subscribers has been disabled. This is to help prevent
'theft' of list members' email addresses for commercial purposes.

Should you need someone's email address please write me personally at
dvictor at u.washington.edu

2. When subscribing and unsubscribing to Tweeters you will receive a
reply from the listprocessor with a "cookie number" in the subject line.
Merely reply back to the listprocessor with the "cookie number" you
received and your command will be completed. This is to prevent the use
of forged email to subscribe or unsubscribe other people.
