A little over a month ago, Gail Spitler was kind enough to refer
Tweetsters to the following two places for more information about birds
and coffee. I haven't seen the Birding article but did check out the
Smithsonian site and recommend it to others. It did not strike me as
"junk science."

Gail's message posted to Tweeters around Feb. 1 said that there is a
good bit of information about birds/coffee at the Smithsonian Migratory
Bird Center site at:

http://www.si.edu/natzoo/zooview/smbc/smbchome.htm,

and in the Dec, 1996 issue of Birding.
