Thanks for diverting our attention from the latest squables over political
correctness and the freedom of speech.

With the snow finally melting across the northern half of eastern
Washington, we might expect more Snowy Owl reports from our part of the
state. Now is the time to look before they migrate out.

I nearly went snow blind a few weeks ago while looking on the Waterville
Plateau. I still wonder if the hundreds of Snow Buntings weren't just
pieces of the the back of my eyeballs peeling off.
