Paul Nabhan's Songbirds, Truffles, and Wolves--An American Naturalist in
Italy. Interesting mix of science, travel, birds, diet. If you're tired
of the Seattle evergray, it's a thoughtful and interesting "trip." The
complexity of the shade-and-coffee question reminded me of this book.
