Hi Tweets

Next weekend (March 15 to 17) a group of Vancouver Area birders are
planning a trip to the Yakima, Tri-city areas of Washington State.

The trip is planned at this time each year to take advantage of the Sage
Grouse Trek on the Yakima Army range. Asmost know that won't happen this
year.

I welcome any input from Washington State birders for suggested sights we
might visit.

Our first planned destination is Yakima Saturday night. (anyone suggest a
decent motel).

At this time the plan is to bird the "Old" Vantage Hwy. then on to Yakima.

The plan for Sunday was to head south to the Tri-city Area to possibly see
a Ferruginous Hawk or Burrowing Owl.

Monday we would work our way back home possibly covering the Vantage Hwy
again.

Would the Wenas Campground be assessable at this time of year? I know most
on the trip would love a chance to see a White-headed or Black-backed
Woodpecker.

Good Birding
