I have not followed this thread, because I don't have the time. I've spot
checked a few of the messages, as I know the actual topic can change rapidly
in these things. I *do* think this is a bird watching topic, as it concerns
something which may affect the birds we watch. Since I already have a
position on the topic, I just choose to ignore most of the postings. Some
that make good points are transferred to my "Environmental" mail-box.
Eventually, I will probably delete the rest.
