What exactly constitutes the "Pacific Northwest"? The last time I looked
Alaska appears to be on the Pacific Ocean along with a few seas and
such. The map provided you get one that will put Alaska where it belongs
(not out in the Pacific) seems to indicate that Alaska is a bit more to
the north and to the west of Oregon and Washington. Hmmm. Interesting.

To keep my Alaskan friends happy, I've had a Varied Thrush now for the
past weekend. Absolutely gorgeous. Brilliant orange. I also learned that
robins stay year round in Ketchikan. Juneau had one though on the
Christmas bird count.

Since non-Pacific Northwesters are limited to only a few rationed words
per month ?, day?, week? or is it year? I had better close.
