Since I made the original post "defining" the Pacific Northwest, I feel
obliged to modify my original definition. Since Alaska has few people and
many birds, I suggest Alaska be allowed to join the Pacific Northwest. I also
suggest we annex Aptos CA as an isolated colony of our great region. But I'm
sorry, Connecticut is too much of a stretch...its going to have to remain in
New England.
