I think southwest Alaska pretty much qualifies. You have temperate
rain forest which is very much like that which is in Oregon/Washington,
and y'all are trying to making the resemblence complete, at least in
the Tongass (is that a chainsaw I hear?) :)

It's a lot closer than Connecticut, which I'm not even sure I can spell
right.

Personally, I don't mind posts on other areas because thus far there
aren't many of them. If we got daily reports from every state in the
US and every nation in the UN, though, my feelings might change...
