I walked around Green Lake a couple of days ago, and I saw an
interesting new idiotic thing. A couple had a dog on a leash. It was
young, although good sized, and straining to go chase a large flock of
wigeons grazing on the southeast lawn. The guy didn't want his dog to
miss out, so he and the dog *both* ran after the ducks with the dog
out ahead on the leash. The flock naturally took off and landed on
the lake. Then a few minutes later a girl with a large dog did the
same thing with a second flock of wigeons. I suppose I should be
thankful that they were at least obeying the letter of the leash law.
