Scott - with 150"+ of snow at Snoqualmie Pass now and more snow coming
this week down to 2000', you'd better bring your snow shoes or skis if
you want to get anywhere off the interstate. Best access then may be
the Denny Creek campground west of the pass at exit 47. There is a
short trail through old growth which might be snow free. You might also
try Kachees Lake 16 miles east of the pass at exit 70. Call the North
Bend Ranger station at 888-1421; I'm sure they'll have some good
suggestions.
