The talk of coloring vs not has reminded us of a feeder in the Blue Mts near
Dixie - we stopped to check out who was visiting the feeders (8-10 Calliope)
and noticed they were filled with green and blue solutions. Later the owner
came out and we chatted and we asked her about the unusual color - was it a
commercial mix? No, she had run out of red coloring. Nothing we said
convinced her that she didn't need any coloring! As far as she was
concerned, it was working. :(
