The swallows have returned. Today there were around 40-50 Violet-green
Swallows, and 10 or more Tree Swallows. Other than that, there were the
usual 40 species for this time of year. The eagles are on the nest, and
I heard a Pied-billed Grebe doing their great hooting call.

This was my 175th birding trip to the park. That's a lot of Thursdays.
