Quick trip to Nisqually this (Sunday) morning to see what the night wind blew
in: There is a beautiful, full dress male rufous hummer staking his claim to
the bushes just north of the viewing platform at the twin barns. Chasing
off the chickadees and doing his aerial zooms and dives. Glowing gorget.
Also both tree and V.G. swallows about, and a couple of redtails trying to
copulate nearby.
