An update on the owl was published in WOSNews 43 (June 1996 issue). It was
tracked to by way of the raido transmitter to 100 Mile House were it was
assumed to nest. There was also a stunning photograph of the bird on the
front page.

The Washington Ornithological Society publishs a great number of
interesting items in its news letter and in its journal. I will remind
folks that tweeters is a listserver were birds talked about. Not all
information about birds in Washington is dissucssed here because no one is
obligated to put information on it. If you want to keep up with all
aspects of the bird life with in the state, join WOS and other
organizations like it.
