Forgive me for my recent lapses of understanding evident on tweeters.

For those still with the discussion--I often forget that we are always
dealing with different personality types--especially important when
concerned with the recording of rare birds.

To further the discussion, before it dies, you might want to take a look
at a page on our (WSU-TFREC) intranet site--

http://www.tfrec.wsu.edu/TFREConly/upsidedown.html

It discusses the difference between persons with an analytic view and
those with a global view. Rare bird committees are of necessity composed
of analytic types, which will bring them into frequent collisions with us
globals types--the ones who come out of the fog flying upside down.
