Happy Spring, Tweeters!!

My apologies to Hans out in Spokane who complained "enough already," but
I have two things to say: (1) we could be witnessing history in the
making here, some of us maybe even to the point of making history happen
(if Oldsquaw's name is changed to Callithumpian or Sonsonsolly or
Long-tailed Duck or whatever), which is fascinating and informative and
global (to borrow a term from another informative thread!) and pretty
danged cool in my book; and (2) I just have to accept this challenge from
Michael Price, who ended his eloquent contribution to the "Oldsquaw
alternatives" thread with:

>Actually, one of the sonic-based names would be really cool ('sonic'
because
>I can't spell 'onomatopo-whateverthehell' worth a damn; where's Miss
Smith
>when we need her? Hey, Subplot--!)

Eeeek! Let's see, can I spell a word I've never been able to remember
how to pronounce? Hmmmm... o-n-o-m-a-t-o-p-o-e-i-a... now lemme check my
trusted Random House dictionary......... Bingo! Hot damn! Of course,
Michael *did* spell three-fourths of the word already, and correctly.

Still, don't ask me to pronounce it. ;-)
