Hi Tweets,

Yes, another post from me today, making a total of four so far--and isn't
our limit two? But I've been quiet for months and months, so I've gotta
make up for lost time! ;-)

Any comments on the following? How frequently is E coli or other harmful
bacteria found in wild bird droppings? I guess it's not a good idea to
include FFM (finch fecal matter) as the secret ingredient in Lizette's
Facial Masques?

*** Sewage-loving gulls could spread E coli

Seagulls feasting on sewage, garbage dumps and farm waste could help
to spread the poisonous E coli bacteria, New Scientist magazine said
Thursday. Researchers for Britain's Public Health Laboratory Service
and the University of Lancaster analyzed 700 samples of gull droppings
and found three percent were infected with E coli 0157, a strain of a
common gut bacteria that can cause food poisoning. The birds roost on
farmland and defecate onto grass and into cattle troughs, which could
spread the bacteria to cattle, scientists said. For the full text
