To go out on really high water or snow days, I use Sorel's and my feet are
ALWAYS warm and dry but I find them clumsy for driving. If I don't have to
wade much then I use my Asolo hiking boots (which I have used for MILES of
hiking in the Cascades and for the occasional wade across a high stream --
and they keep my feet warm and dry, too). I don't think the Asolo's would
stay dry (BTW, I NicWax them myself) if I did more than the occasional
wade...
