I was there yesterday afternoon between 2:00 and 5:00 and had no luck. I
even had three horse riders checking for me, but they didn't see it
either. Two of the riders had seen the owl several times before, so they
knew how and what to look for. Lots of wrens, kinglets, and a shy
pileated--oh yes, my first trillium of the year. Very muddy!
