At 10:30 this morning I spotted a Palm Warbler in, of all places, the
Lacey Fred Meyer parking lot (off Sleator-Kinney Rd. south from I-5).
Oddly enough, I saw one there last winter in exactly the same place,
hanging around the ornamental plantings near the Home & Garden
entrance. This bird today was very active, flying from bush to tree
to rearview mirror, wagging his tail furiously at each stop and
calling incessantly.
