Posts like the following really piss me off. The word squaw, regardless
of it's etymology has been used in an offensive manner for several
hundred years, akin in my mind to words like slut or whore. It's just
another straw on the back of the proverbial camel of insults that have
gone on for way too long. The term squaw doesn't bother you? Don't you
care that it bothers a hell of a lot of people in this country? Well I
have a name for you, let's call it the BALD-HEADED DUCK. I'm not bald, I
have lots of hair, so why the hell should I care?

Now let's get serious, we're acting like morons arguing over this, there
are a lot more pressing issues facing the Native American community, like
extinction, alcoholism and starvation, not to mention freezing to death
on the plains of South Dakota, so who cares about a stupid f*ing duck?
Well, every little slap in the face hurts, and it can hurt like hell.

There are also a lot more pressing issues facing birders and
environmentalists than what to call one stupid duck. Lets get real here.

I'm through venting, sorry to burden y'all. Expletives added for effect.
