Sightings for Friday March 21=20

A VESPER SPARROW was on the Aloette river dike today. The bird was at the
first bridge on Neves road in Pitt Meadows. 2 YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS were
about a =BC mile (however many meters that is) north along the north dike at
this location. Also seen in the Pitt Mreadows area were 5 SANDHILL CRANES
and a PRAIRIE FALCON. 3 spring arrival SAVANNAH SPARROWS were at Blackie
Spit. 2 PILETATED WOODPECKERS and a RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD were in Port Moody.
2 YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS and a RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD were in the wood lot at
Ferguson Rd and the sea island causeway. Large numbers of BRANT were on
Boundary bay and between the Tsawwassen and Roberts Bank jetties. =20

Sightings for Wednesday March 19=20

A GREAT HORNED OWL was in the lane on the south side of 1st Avenue between
Clark Drive and Mclean in Vancouver. The bird was perched on a telephone
pole for the day, finally flying at dusk.

Sightings for Tuesday March 18

Two BLACK OYSTERCATCHERS were on the north side of the Tsawwassen jetty.
These birds were also seen on Monday and Sunday.
