I don't know where Ahtanum Meadows is but I have driven over Ahtanum Ridge.
It is a long east-west ridge south of Union Gap and south of the small towns
of Harwood and Wiley City (DeLoreme p. 50, R17E, T12N. My Breeding Bird
Survey route goes over this ridge, but recently it has been declared off
limits by the Yakima Nation, so permission to drive south over this
dirt/gravel road to Brownstown is required.
