If you want a REALLY dark sky, and have the time and a good truck
or jeep, the camping areas on top of Tabletop Mountain are ideal! Go to
Liberty, & just keep going right through town & out the other side.
I'm not sure if the snow's gone yet this year, but normally it would be.
The forest service should be able to tell you.
